Chubb regularly sends out letters attempting to locate owners of uncashed funds. This is because Chubb is required by law to turn over unclaimed funds to a state’s Unclaimed Property division after a certain period of time. 1 Prior to turning over unclaimed funds to a state, Chubb makes its best effort to return funds to the rightful owner.
If you have received an Unclaimed Property letter from Chubb, Chubb’s records reflect that Chubb is in possession of unclaimed funds to which you may be entitled.
To claim your funds, follow the instructions on the letter you received, paying close attention to the identification verification requirements. Learn more here.
1 Please visit your state’s unclaimed property website for more information on state regulations around unclaimed property.
